On Wednesday, August 28, Robert Rué died at the age of 79.
Born in El Soleràs, in the Les Garrigues region, Robert settled with his family in Terrassa at a very young age. From a young age, he showed interest and concern for cultural activity, and delved into different areas. At the age of 15, he began dancing sardanas and shortly after he joined the Esbart Egarenc, where after a few years he became a key player and took on the direction of the entity in two different stages. His stay at the Esbart was the spark that ignited his interest in theater, and he began collaborating in the performances of Els Pastorets that El Social stages every year during the Christmas holidays, even becoming its director years later. Apart from Els Pastorets, he has also been a key member of the El Social Theatre Cast, participating in and directing more than twenty plays, the latest being "Nadal al pesto", which was last performed last June.
Robert began collaborating with the Quadre de Veus in 2010, following the recording of "Dotze homes sense pietat" which was made at the time. Although he had previous experience in the medium with Ràdio Nadal, the station that El Social launched in the 80s during the Christmas season, the radio experience captivated him, and he became one of the stable voices of our cast, with which he has represented more than twenty works and has even directed some such as "Truca un inspector", "El criat de dos amos" or "Les mans brutes"
Apart from dance, music and theatre, Robert was also a lover of nature and the mountains, a great fan of hiking and trekking, and a member of the Hiking Center. Now that he has embarked on his last journey, all of us who have known him wish him a path full of success wherever he goes.
Saturday, September 28, in tribute to Robert, in our Radio Theatre space we want to revive one of the plays he directed and in which he also acted: "An Inspector Calls" by John Boynton Priestley.

On Wednesday, June 28, at the Teatre Pincipal in Terrassa, the 32nd Night of Mystery was celebrated with the ceremony of proclamation and awarding of the literary contest awards that are organized every year by the Terrassa delegation of Òmnium Cultural, where the winners of the different categories of awards that were awarded were announced.
Once again, the Radio Theatre Voices Panel of 95.2 Ràdio has collaborated in the event with the dramatized reading of a fragment of the winning work of the last edition of the Ferran Canyameras Novel Prize, "Malabèstia", by Raquel Gómez-Serrano, according to the adaptation by Beth Solsona.

Ens ha deixat Ángel Cazorla Olmo, nascut a Santa Cruz de Marchena, província d''Almeria, el 1930, una persona amb una rica història personal i una extensa carrera literària.
Amb només set anys, va començar a escriure contes que després intercanviava amb altres infants per altres objectes. Als catorze anys, va abandonar l'escola i un any més tard va migrar a Terrassa, on va començar a treballar en una fàbrica.
Ángel Cazorla Olmo, born in Santa Cruz de Marchena, province of Almería, in 1930, has left us, a person with a rich personal history and an extensive literary career.
At just seven years old, he began writing stories that he would later exchange with other children for other objects. At fourteen, he left school and a year later migrated to Terrassa, where he began working in a factory.
His passion for reading and his desire to write came true in 1952, when a friend suggested that he write a chapter of a western novel. It was then that he rented a typewriter and began writing popular literature with the authorship of the so-called hardcover novels, texts with just over a hundred pages in low-cost editions.
It was then that he adopted the pseudonym Kent Wilson, as it was a more suitable name for a western author, and began publishing with Ediciones Bruguera and later with Editorial Toray. Between 1952 and 1958 he published titles such as ¡Trabaja Sepulturero!, El hombre de Nueva Orleans, El Libertador, La Hora de la Venganza, Locos del Espacio, La Llave, Espías en Nueva York or Un novio para Terry. Apart from westerns, he also ventured into other genres such as detective novels, romance, science fiction or the war genre.
In 1958 he emigrated to Belgium to graduate in English and French, attending night classes while, during the day, working as a construction laborer. Two years later he returned to Terrassa and dedicated himself to working as a translator while traveling around the world as a sales executive for a major textile company from Terrassa.
But Cazorla's literary maturity comes with the two great novels he wrote: El Pan y la Tierra and Crónica de una Herencia. El pan y la tierra is a rural drama written by Cazorla in 1959 during his stay in Leuven (Belgium). The action is set in Santa Cruz de Marchena, the author's native town, at the beginning of the 20th century, and narrates the hard and austere life of a family of vine growers where the repressive and dominant figure of the father, with the land as his only goal, confronts his children, who seek freedom through the paths of love and the will to migrate in order to escape the restrained, contained and hypocritical society. The parallel stories, the description of the characters, daily life and customs become a clear example of the rural world in Santa Cruz.
The author himself was responsible for making a radio adaptation of the novel that the Quadre de Veus de Radioteatre recorded in 1986 and which was broadcast, obtaining a great response.
Apart from the novel, Angel Cazorla's other great literary passion was poetry, where Sonetos al Hombre y el Viento y la Memoria stand out.

On Thursday, June, 28th,the act of proclamation and delivery of the distinctions of literary contest taht each yer organises Omnium Cultural delegation from Terrassa, was held. For the second year in a row yhe event was held at Teatre Principal of Terrassa, and the winners of the diferent categories were announced.
One more year, the Quadre de Veus de Radioteatre de la 95.2 Ràdio colaborated in the act playing dramatized reading of a piece from the winning work of the last edition of Ferran Canyameras Novel Award, "La drecera de Caïm", by Sílvia Mayans, according the adaptation by Beth Solsona.
