Maria Glòria Farrés

Born in Terrassa in 1934, kshe nows the radio at age 17 when she joined the "Quadre de Veus de Radioteatre" under the direction of Joan Llenas. Since then, her life has always been linked to the radio and she had worked in all fields, from acting in the aforementioned radio theater, through the narration of programs, which include in "Contrapunt" "Nosotras" or "Cigronet", the latter jointly conducted with Miquel Àngel Cos.


Radio Theater has always been with what felt really happy. Among the many works in< which she has taken part in include, for example, the importance of "La Heredera" by Ruth and Augustus Goetz, "La gata sobre el tejado de zinc< caliente", an adaptation of the screenplay by Tennessee Williams, "Agnès de Déu" by John Pielmeier, "Petra Regalada" by Antonio Gala, "Las lágrimas de Petra Von Kant" by Fassbinder, Lorca dramas like "Bodas de sangre" and "Yerma", and the classic Catalan by Josep Maria de Sagarra "Les vinyes del Priorat" and "L'hostal de la Glòria", among others.Although< it is now their activity on the radio is the most important part of her life.
