Ismael Majó

We regret to announce the death of our colleague Ismael Majó, at the age of 59.

In addition to being one of the most common voices in our cast, Ismael was also the author of some of the radio adaptations and director of some of our stage productions on the airwaves.

He began his theatrical career at only 17 years old as an actor on stage at the Sant Pere de Terrassa Parish Center, and two years later, he became part of our Voice Cast, then at Ràdio Terrassa - SER Vallès. He also directed several stage plays, one of them of his own creation, and even worked as a television presenter on TV20 for two years.

Among the most representative works in which he has participated, stand out "El proceso de Oscar Wilde", "El zoológico de cristal" or "Llama un inspector", among others.

In 2010, he took on the role of co-director of the cast together with Joan Garrigó, a task he carried out for almost five years. During this period, the adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's "A Doll's House" belongs, where he also voices the narrator of the story. Precisely, this work will soon be restored to pay him the tribute he deserves.

Rest in peace, dear Ismael.
