Born in Cardona in 1931, he started activity in theatrical scene as amateur in 1940 with the group "Talia". At the end of this decade he began his work as an actor in radio theater with Voices Company in Radio Terrassa, then led by Joan Llenas. The characteristics of the voice and diction, specializes in interpreting galan roles. Involved playing the role of Don Luis Mejia in the performance of "Don Juan Tenorio" which takes place at "Teatre Alegria" on October, 30th 1952 and got a great success. Parallel to this activity as an actor, also highlighted significantly as rhapsodist. This leads to action several times before the microphones of Radio Barcelona, in an area run by the popular speaker of the time this station, Encarna Sanchez. Besides Radio Barcelona, he has acted also in various plays of Voices Companies as "Radio Lleida", while fulfilling his military service, and then a couple of works on "Radio Manresa".
Apart from the radio business, he has been involved in numerous works represented on stage by various theater groups in the city of Terrassa.
After a long break, in 1983, with the revival of Voices Company on the occasion of the tribute to the actress Lidia Segués, he becomes one of the main elements of the new stage of "Quadre de Veus" de Radio Terrassa, occupying the place of director. From then until now, he has directed numerous works, and has been a promoter of staged readings and performances in front of the audience that "Quadre de Veus" carried out in different scenarios such as "Centre Cultural de Caixa Terrassa", "Centre Social Catòlic", "Teatre Alegria", "Casa-Museu Alegre de Sagrera", "Gran Casino", Auditori Municipal", "Aula Gran", "Cor de l'Art", among others. The task of leadership earned him recognition with the award of a prize awarded by Asociación Profesional Española de Informadores de Prensa, Radio y Televisión (APEI-PRTV), which was delivered in an evening awards ceremony sharing with leading industry professionals such as Jordi LP, Santiago Ramentol, Antoni Bassas and Josep Cuni, among others. In addition to this task manager, intervened, so eventually, in some works as an actor, in this case taking the pseudonym Joan Rodon.
