En el marc de la temporada estable de Teatre Radiofònic a la nostra emissora, avui assistim al desenllaç de "La tercera palabra" d'Alejandro Casona, de la qual vàreu poder escoltar la primera part en l'audició de la setmana passada. En l'audició anterior, vam conèixer la història de Pablo, un jove de 28 anys criat a la muntanya que no sap ni llegir ni escriure; i que després de la mort del seu pare queda a càrrec de les seves tías, les quals es proposen de donar-li l'educació que correspon. Després de diversos intents fracassats amb altres professors, arriba Marga, una jove recentment graduada a la Universitat que, malgrat un primer enfrontament inicial, acaba per merèixer la confiança de Pablo, i aconsegueix que el jove s'interessi per l'aprenentatge de la lectura i l'escriptura. Els vuit primers mesos són suficients, no només perquè es produeixi un important avanç en l'aprenentatge de Pablo, sinó també per fer créixer una molt bona amistat entre el jove i la seva tutora. Però apareix en escena el Senyor Roldán, l'oncle de Pablo per part de mare, alhora que l'administrador de l'herència del jove, que s'oposa del tot a que Marga continuï éssent la tutora del jove; ja que veu perillar el benefici que li comporta el fet d'administrar els béns de l'herència i tem no poder continuar fent-ne ús per al seu benefici propi. Per aquest motiu, demana l'ajuda de Julio, el seu fill i cosí de Pablo, advocat de professió, que resulta haver estat l'antic amant de Marga en l'època en que ambdós eren universitaris. Mentrestant, Marga ha aconseguit que l'interès de Pablo per l'estudi vagi cada cop en augment. I també l'interès per reviure el passat amb una tendresa inèdita fins aleshores. Per conèixer i retrobar els sentiments envers la seva mare. Tot això és motiu suficient per que Marga, d'amagat de la Tía Matilde, es conxorxi amb la Tía Angelina per tal de recuperar els records que encara es conserven i fer-los avinents al jove. Pablo comença a reviure tot el que semblava haver oblidat i va descobrint que hi ha dues coses diferents a la resta: la Mort i Déu. Dues paraules, que es refereixen a dos misteris de la vida que fan tremolar l'home.

Us recordem que la versió radiofònica que posem en antena és un enregistrament del Quadre de Veus de Radioteatre sota la direcció de Joan Garrigó i amb la participació de Júlia Gonzalez en Marga, Glòria Farrés en la Tía Matilde, Joana Palau en la Tía Angelina, Margarida Fabregat en Doña Lola, Laura Castillo en Josefina, Joan Salvador en Pablo, Ricard Pagès en el Señor Roldán, Ismael Majó en Julio, Albert Puig en el Profesor, i Francisco Domingo en Eusebio. La narració és de Ramon Bravo, el muntatge musical de Nina Mataix i la realització tècnica de Joan Borràs.
